Sessions are conducted online via our secure telehealth system and may be conveniently scheduled to accommodate your needs.

Comprehensive instructions are provided to facilitate your telehealth appointment, with no requirement for specialised software. The video consultation platform is accessible from any desktop computer (PC or Mac), tablet (Android, Windows, or iPad), or smartphone. A webcam is required, and the use of a headset with a microphone is recommended to ensure optimal audio quality. Please conduct your consultation in a quiet, private, and well-lit setting. For security and privacy, we advise against accessing Telehealth from public locations or unsecured wi-fi networks.

Psychiatrists and psychologists are both credentialed professionals qualified to provide mental health services. Psychiatrists, as licensed specialist medical doctors, have the authority to prescribe medications, while psychologists specialize in delivering evidence-based psychotherapy (talking treatments).

At All Psychiatry, our team of psychiatrists and psychologists works collaboratively to deliver comprehensive and holistic care, carefully tailored to everyone’s needs.

We are not a Bull Billing service however with access to Medicare rebates, your out-of-pocket expenses can be reduced.
Please also review your information regarding safety net and extended safety net, with Medicare to identify your out-of-pocket costs for the appointments, which may be reduced substantially when Medicare safety net or extended safety net has reached.

Kindly ensure that all fees are fully paid no later than 7 days prior your scheduled appointment to confirm your appointment. Following your attendance for the appointment, our admin staff will submit information at their end for you to receive Medicare rebate in your Medicare nominated back account.
Please note that this information is relevant for Medicare patients only and Medicare rebates can only be accessed further to your GP referral being valid at the time of the appointment.

Telehealth services are accessible to all Australians through Medicare.
To obtain a rebate for a telehealth consultation with a psychiatrist, patients need to provide a referral letter from their general practitioner (GP). Typically, GP referrals to specialists remain valid for 12 months unless otherwise specified. For patients requiring ongoing management, GPs may issue referrals that are valid for periods exceeding 12 months or may be indefinite.

To access Medicare rebates for appointments with our psychologists, kindly obtain a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP or a referral from your treating psychiatrist.

All Psychiatry offers patients the convenience of attending appointments from anywhere in Australia.

We recognise that schedules may change due to unforeseen circumstances, which can occasionally impact your ability to attend a scheduled appointment. Should this occur, we kindly request 48 hours’ notice so your appointment slot may be offered to another patient.

Our team will gladly assist you in rescheduling to a more suitable time. Please note that in instances of a “no show” or “missed appointment”, the clinic may need to deduct the full consultation fee.

Our specialists work in close partnership with your general practitioner to deliver the highest standard of care. To arrange an appointment, please visit your GP to obtain a referral.

According to Medicare regulations, a valid referral is required for us to process a Medicare rebate for your consultation. If a referral is not provided, you will be responsible for the full cost of the consultation.

AllPsychiatry team is dedicated to supporting your mental health needs. While we understand the importance of timely access to our specialists, same-day consultations are not currently available. All appointments need to be scheduled in advance.

If you are facing a distressing or urgent situation, please contact your local Psychiatric Triage Service (PTS) for 24-hour crisis assistance.

In case of an emergency, proceed to the nearest hospital Emergency Department (ED), if it is safe to do so, or call 000 for ambulance support.
