At All Psychiatry, we are a private billing specialist mental health practice committed to providing transparent information about our fees, payment requirements and billing processes. Please read this policy carefully before booking your appointment.
Private Billing
All Psychiatry is a private billing practice. Consultation fees are determined by the treating clinician and may vary depending on the appointment type, duration and complexity.
Our friendly administration team will explain the applicable fees before your appointment is confirmed.
Medicare Rebates
Where eligible, Medicare rebates may be claimed following payment of your consultation fee. Patients remain responsible for payment of the full consultation fee regardless of Medicare eligibility or rebate entitlement.
Please note:

Medicare eligibility is subject to current Medicare requirements and the availability of a valid referral where applicable.

Medicare rebate amounts are determined by Services Australia and may change from time to time.

All Psychiatry cannot guarantee Medicare eligibility or rebate amounts.
Payment Requirements
New Patients
To secure your appointment, a non-refundable booking deposit of $200 is required at the time of booking for all new patient appointments.

The $200 booking deposit will be credited towards your consultation fee.

The remaining balance of your consultation fee must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to your appointment.

Your appointment will only be confirmed once the booking deposit has been received.

If the remaining balance is not received by the due date, we may contact you by phone, SMS or email. If payment remains outstanding, your appointment may be cancelled and offered to another patient. The $200 booking deposit is non-refundable.

By paying the booking deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to this Billing Policy, including the payment, cancellation and refund terms.
Existing Patients

Full payment is required at least 7 days prior to your appointment.

If payment is not received by the due date, we may contact you by phone, SMS or email. If payment remains outstanding, your appointment may be cancelled and offered to another patient.
Payment Methods
We accept payment by:
A 1.8% + $0.30 processing surcharge applies to all credit and debit card payments. No surcharge applies to payments made by bank transfer.
Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each patient. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible.
Initial Appointments

The $200 booking deposit is non-refundable.

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment 7 or more days before the scheduled appointment, any amount paid over and above the $200 booking deposit may be refunded or transferred to a future appointment, less any applicable administrative fees.

If you cancel or reschedule less than 7 days before your appointment, the full prepaid consultation fee may be retained.
Follow-up Appointments

Late cancellations or requests to reschedule made within 7 days of the appointment may result in the full consultation fee being retained.

Any refund or transfer of prepaid fees for follow-up appointments will be considered at the discretion of the treating clinician.
Failure to Attend (No Show)

Patients who fail to attend their scheduled appointment without prior notice will forfeit any prepaid consultation fees.

Repeated non-attendance may result in future appointments being declined.
Clinician Cancellations
If your treating clinician or All Psychiatry needs to cancel your appointment, you will be offered either:

A suitable alternative appointment; or

A full refund of any prepaid consultation fees.
Refunds
Refunds will be considered in accordance with this policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a refund is approved:

Refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days;

Medicare rebates and payments administered by third parties (including Medicare, TAC, WorkCover, DVA or private health insurers) are subject to the policies of those organisations and are not controlled by All Psychiatry.
Additional Fees
Additional fees may apply for services outside a consultation, including but not limited to:

Prescription requests outside scheduled appointments
Patients will be advised of any applicable fees before work is undertaken.
Outstanding Accounts
Outstanding consultation fees or administrative charges may need to be paid before further appointments can be scheduled or additional services provided.
Changes to Fees
Consultation fees may be reviewed and updated from time to time. Patients will be advised of the applicable consultation fee before confirming an appointment.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur. Requests for consideration due to exceptional circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Policy Acceptance
By booking an appointment or paying a booking deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Billing Policy.
