About Dr. Raj Dangi

Currently practicing at a prestigious public hospital in Melbourne, he brings with him extensive experience of working in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Dr Dangi has expertise in dealing with a wide range of common psychiatric conditions, with particular focus on Psychosis, Mood Disorders and ADHD. Having worked in UK, India and Australia, he is uniquely skilled in helping individuals from a wide spectrum of socio-cultural backgrounds and ethnicities.Dr Dangi holds Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK (MRCPsych) and Fellowship of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He is an accredited Psychiatry Trainees Supervisor and an Honorary Lecturer at Monash University, whereby he is actively involved in teaching next generation of doctors.  Dr Dangi has led numerous research and quality improvement projects and has published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has been awarded Clinical Excellence Award for his outstanding contribution in his field. He also acts as an expert psychiatrist in civil and criminal medico-legal cases.Dr Dangi is committed to delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals aged 18 to 65 from all backgrounds, though his multilingual proficiency in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu uniquely enables him to connect particularly well with patients from the Indian subcontinent.
